Prater Vienna

Prater: Prater is a huge park covering almost 1,700 hectares and a favourite among the Viennese who come in hordes during their spare time, sitting down on the grass, in the cafes or open-air restaurants.
Volksprater can be found at the entrance to the park. It is a huge amusement park with the famous Risenrad, the Big Wheel, installed in 1897 and which is now the emblem of Vienna. A journey on the Big Wheel is therefore a must, to enjoy the beautiful view over the city in the peace and quiet.
