Minoritenkirche Vienna

 

Minoritenkirche: the church of the Minorites, built by order of duke Leopold IV and inspired by his trip to Assisi. The construction of the church dates back to the Fourteenth Century and it is the second most important church in the history of Vienna after the cathedral of Saint Stephen. This church is also referred to as the Italian national church as mass is in Italian on Sundays
