There are lots of destinations to visit in Venice. This Italian city is called romantic city. Saint Marco square is the heart of city that is situated on the bank of the Grand Canal. Great numbers of beautiful, historical monuments are located here. It has been always the center of attraction. At the center a giant statue of three big lion watches over Bails Park and its classic white bandstand. There are many other things too such as galleries, boutiques, independent book stores and upscale gift stores. That attracts the tourists as bud attracts the bees.
Piazza San Marco is the only square that is also called a piazza. It is not only a city square but also a symbol of old culture. It is one of few delicate works of architecture. Napoleon called this "the finest drawing room in Europe". This square is lined with the buildings (procuratia).
