Grand Canal Venice

Canal Grande (Grand Canal) known for its grand sight is the main artery of the Venice. It not only provides the fastest connection between the northwestern side and Saint Mark Basin but also the main transportation hub of the city. Gondolas, public boats (vaporetti), water taxis, police boats, ambulance boats even cargo ships use the Canal Grande as a highway of the city. One of the Canal Grande's bridge is Ponte di Rialto.
