Climate and weather in Porto
Porto genjoys an Atlantic climate, which is mitigated by the Golf Stream. Temperatures are never too cold or hot.
The best periods to visit the city are in spring and summer, when even in the hottest days, temperatures never exceed 25 °C. Duringwinter and autumn humid and rainydays are pretty frequent. As opposed to the region of Algarve, where the sea in spring is already warm, in Porto theocean waters are cold even in summer: the sea temperature never rises above 18/19°C.
