Elafonissi - Peloponnese, Greece

Here is a little island easy to reach in 10 minutes from Pounda (13 Km north-west of Neapoli). It is only 300 meters from the mainland and has 700 inhabitants. The beach of Simos is advertised as the most beautiful of the Mediterranean and perhaps it is. During low season it is a real paradise.
