Akrocorinto, which overlooks the city of channel, was fortified at the end of the classical era. It became French, Venetian and Turkish: the landscape view from the top of its walls is definitely worth the effort of the walk.
The famous Corinth channel, more than 6 km long and just 24.6 meters deep, is definitely impressive, especially if you are lucky enough to attend the transit of a big ship towed by a tugboat.
