The Loggia is situated on the right side of Piazza dei Quaranta Martiru, and it is well visible thanks to the pillars raising over the porch of the 14th century. the loggia was built in 1603, and was the seat of a traditional activity in Gubbio: the art of wool. it represents the most well preserved testimony of the numerous arts and crafts corporations. Inside the loggia, tissues were coloured and dried. Underneath the porch there is an access to the church of Santa Maria dei Bianchi, built in proximity of the eponymous 14th century hospital. On the porch, inside a niche, it is possible to admire a fresco representing the Virgin
