Trinity college is one Dublin's institutions. Elisabeth I, fearing the Catholic monopoly of culture on the island established the college in 1593. Within the halls have walked famous literary and cultured men, and in 1903 some of the first female university students of the island.
Strong among it's ex-students, among which we note J. Swift (Gulliver's travels), Oscar Wilde, Bram Stoker (Dracula), S. Beckett, Trinity College still to today attracts many students from every part of Ireland.
The historical university campus, the outside park, and the marvellous library, are open to the public and by wandering around the building it's possible to come across students and graduates in gowns.
