
The Cathedral of St. Patrick has a majestic structure with high spires and an immense bell tower. Built in the XII century, it was restored in the 1860's thanks to the contribution from Sir Benjamin Guinness.
The cathedral of St. Patrick also owes its fame to having had as dean Jonathan Swift, author of controversial works and novels, the most famous of which being "Gulliver's Travels."
The Cathedral also deserves a visit for the magnificence of its interiors.
