South east peninsula

 

In the south east area of the island it's possible to visit Killarney Park, a natural park of roughly 10.000 hectares. The park extends around the lakes of Lough Lane, Muckross e Upper, which are linked by canals. In the warm season walks on foot and guided tours are possible.

A road which can be used by cars connects Cork to Killarney. From here it's possible to go down south to Kenmare and visit the Beara peninsula, or go north along the jagged coast up to the Dingle peninsula.

From Cork, by using the southern coast road it's possible to reach the Beara and Killarney Peninsula.
