Climate and Weather in Dublin

The climate in Ireland is notoriously damp. During the day, even when sunny, it's easy to run into a moment of slight drizzle, although it will pass by quite quickly. During the winter months rain is more frequent, and the temperature drops, although it's unlikely for it to fall below zero, normally staying around 4/5 degrees.

The island's position allows it to benefit from the gulf stream, so in summer along the coast, the temperature can reach even 25 degrees, despite the average being 19/20. The presence of frequent rain and clouds can cause the perceived temperature to drop in comparison with the actual temperature.
