How to get to Assisi
By car:

From north: take the highway A1 and exit in Valdichiana; take the main road SS75bis which borders the Lake Trasimeno, pass over Perugia and exit in Ponte S.Giovanni, then go on following the signs to Assisi by taking the road SS75. Exit in Santa Maria degli Angeli and go on towards Assisi centre.

From south: for those coming from Rome, take the highway A1 and exit in Orte; then take the main road SS204 towards Terni, then E45 until Perugia. In proximity of Collestrada exit the road and follow the signs to Assisi along the route SS75. Exit in Santa Maria degli Angeli and go on towards Assisi centre.

From the Adriatic Coast: take the highway A14 and exit in Cesena, then take the main road E45 passing by Città di Castello until you reach the exit Collestrada. Then leave the road E45 and take the route SS75. Exit in Santa Maria degli Angeli and follow the sign toward Assisi centre.

From north: take the main line Florence –Rome and get off in Terontola; from here take the regional train connections to Assisi/Santa Maria degli Angeli.

From South: take the main line Florence – Ancona and get off in Foligno; from here take the regional train connections to Assisi/Santa Maria degli Angeli, with stop in Assisi.

By plane:
Assisi is only 20 km distant from the International Airport of Sant’Egidio. The airport operates daily connections to Milan Malpensa two times per day.
